I hosted game time for 30 kids on Friday, by the end a third had their cameras on. We were legit laughing, and they opted to play some game involving giving speeches I truly didn't understand. They launched a game of Among Us so they could keep playing after the Google Meet ended
I have students trying to pass seven classes, when they only need to pass three. They want to be working to support their families, but our district doesn't allow this flexibility.
Boys in particular seem to need more support, I think because their friendships tend to be built more on doing activities together.
