Andrew Carnegie, Founder of CMU, entrepreneur, and philanthropist revealed his secret of success as - “I can keep my mind focused on something for five minutes at a stretch.”

Here’s his inspiring tale👇
Started as a young immigrant working in a boiler room, worked his way to take a position as a telegrapher at the railroad company.

Back in the 1850s, began investing in emerging opportunities around him. His investment in Woodruff Sleeping Car was the foundation of his fortune.
Always ahead of the curve, realized iron bridges to be the future and invested heavily in iron production in the 1860s.
Expanded his production units in steel in the next 3 decades and eventually sold his company to JP Morgan’s Steel Corp. for $480 million in 1901, famously becoming the richest man in the world.
Can you imagine becoming the richest person in the world and giving your money away?
That’s exactly what he did. Spent the next years funding institutions, universities, libraries. Using wealth in improving society and the lives of people was one of his key objectives
Summing it up, Andrew Carnegie was one of the most influential persons in the world. Built a legacy with his focus, courage, and energy.
He said, “The average person puts only 25% of his energy and ability into his work. The world takes off its hat to those who put in more than 50% of their capacity, and stands on its head for those few and far between souls who devote 100%.”
