I am curious about something: in the last 4 or 5 months, there have been at least three different BBC radio programs focused on the Haitian Revolution. I have pitched NPR numerous stories about Haiti over the years, & never get a response & they have no programming on it. Why?
Here's the program on the Haitian Revolution that I did with @greg_jenner and @athenakugblenu for @BBCSounds https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p08nf7t2
Here is @OlivetteOtele with Sudhir Hazareesingh and Kate Williams for Contested Histories talking about Toussaint Louverture: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000n5d6
And here I am with Sudhir Hazareesingh and Weibert Arthus talking all things Toussaint in light of the publication of *The Black Spartacus* https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/w3cszjwn
This sounds amazing!
