Having had time to consider the magnitude of the victory, I'm been wondering who at TfL thought it was a good idea to exclude taxis in these schemes?
TfL's own policies support taxi access, @UTAG17 made this point in their arguments and the Judge agreed 1/7

Judge finding in favour of their own policies surely couldn't have come as a surprise to TfL, could it?
Simon Monck's statements were destroyed by Karen Proctor but he wasn't the key decision maker that appears to have been Vernon Everitt but I doubt he acted unilaterally 2/7

The margin of victory for @UTAG17 & @TheLTDA on behalf of the trade & those with protected characteristics cannot be underestimated - I'm asking myself, have we won too big? Where do TfL, the London Boroughs and LA's throughout the country go, they are all affected by our win 3/7
TfL are so desperate that it's reported they've called a meeting with the boroughs to try and formulate an Appeals process. They might reduce the margin of victory but the chances of them excluded taxis is so minor that any advocate would have to advise them as such.

TfL's intransigence has put them in this bind.
They 'regulate' [sic] our industry.
They regulate the so called polluting vehicles.
They regulate the tariff.
They regulate the KoL test.
They have defended our status in court, twice, so why exclude us, when..

..we have spent £370m+ plus in 5 years on cleanest vehicles available?
Our numbers have dwindles, we now make up just 17% of licensed vehicles.
25% of WAV have been lost this year (PH have only 0.5% WAV).
We are 100% accessible.
TfL claim to be inclusive, why exclude us?

We've had a big win but single biggest thing that should come out now is that TfL see us as part of solution & not part of problem.
Court ruled we're not just another vehicle'. We are a fully licensed, accessible taxi fleet that enjoys special privileges for rights earned. End.
