Here’s the thing: the 3 cases (maybe 4 now) of UK Variant B.1.1.7 SARS CoV2 in Westchester were from samples taken on Jan 3rd, 4th and 8th

Which means the UK strain has likely been spreading for 20+ days here, and we’re about to see a whole lot more of this extra-virulent COVID

As an international gateway from Europe, the NYC area is already a national hotspot for the COVID UK variant...

My point being, it’s time for us in Peekskill to get serious about mask-wearing in public and avoiding gatherings, unnecessary trips to the store, maybe even religious gatherings for a while.

Let’s not start a third wave.
