Due to its vicinity to River Krishna "Jatprole" of Telangana became selected site to relocate the temples of "Malleswaram" & "Manchalakota" to be drowned due to Srisailam Project.

Relocation of temples from these places is no less than a herculean task.

Needless to talk about Humongous stone bases & Monolithic pillars of these temples.

Today Jatprole has two temple complexes:

1. Madana Goplaswamy Temple Complex.

2. Agastyeswara Temple complex (group of 20 Shiva temples)

All of them dismantled & brought to Jatprole to re-assemble them again.

Took 4 years to do so, is not less than any award winning feat.

These temples are one of the largest & biggest temple complexes in Telangana state, which is horribly looked up on & neglected.

1. Madana Gopala Swamy Temple.

Its gopuram is one of the best in the region, today is abundantly painted with emulsion paint.

This temple can become game changer on this region for its beauty but Telangana govt has no interest, its all worried about Yadadri @KTRTRS

Just have a look at beautiful Vijayanagara style of Maha Mandapa. Isn't it breath taking?

Look at the "Dasavatara Panel" to the roof of Maha Mandapa. So intricate & Magnificent.

Madana Gopala Swamy complex is still on better side. Only that pinches is how carelessly its painted all over with emulsion.

2. The Agastyeswara Temple complex story will leave you all in tears, hold on...

The temple complex with stunning 20 Shiva temples with major being Agastyeswara, today it is place to drunkards & gamblers.

Every shiva temple is in horrible condition without maintenance & an Archaka.

Even the main Agastyeswara is opened to perform pooja in the morning & is locked after that. This temple has disturbed me a lot. Pictures will speak.

While this region is rich in temple heritage @TelanganaCMO & @KTRTRS Govt is busy investing in places with no such heritage.

When this rich heritage is protected, Such temples are developed & promoted will really revive the economy in this region.

The status of Jatprole Temples is really a matter of concern & a spit on face of Hindus for, the way they are desecrated everyday by our own people making them an adda for Gambling.

I wish @BJP4Telangana takes up such issues & puts up a strong fight @bandisanjay_bjp
