I’m so angry right now so I’m gonna rant . Boys and girls with congenital conditions of sexual development are going to reap the consequences of the misinformation thats out there .

Finding out that you have a CCSD can be a confusing . Trying to understand yourself and what having a CCSD means and questions it brings about you body can be taxing and painful and it’s definitely not an easy thing to understand for this teen and their parents .

When you spread misinformation out there about sex and about intersex bodies you muddy the water and confuse these kids / teens and parents even more .

It is important that you give the patients ( I do hate using that word but it is what it is ) and their parents accurate information about themselves . The more we learn about people with CCSDs and how we came to be the better we can help them and arm them with understanding .

Doing this starts with the truth . There are two biological sexes . People with CCSDs HIGHLIGHT this fact .

Take your pseudo scientific b.s and leave intersex people out of it . We don’t prove what you think you prove and we’re not here for your validation . Misinformation is going have people make bad decisions in terms of the health and psychological well being of people with CCSDs .
