All of the state's legislatures and executive branches should be really concerned with For the People Act of 2021. It takes away the power of the states to run their election as see fit and gives it to the Federal government which is incapable and uncaring to the general populace
They precursor this all under the general guise of racial inequality when it comes to voting when that is already illegal under law. The telling thing is they also make a plea about felons which are serious offenders to now be allowed to vote.
Already there has been tons of cases of people who entered the states illegally stealing social security numbers so this just makes it easier for them to fake it to get registered to vote.
Voter rolls are already having tons of issues with people who are dead or don't exist being on them. Making it so everyone automatically registers just makes it so we get tons more of that.
Ballot Harvesting will become federally legal.
Opening the gateway for states to allow 16 year olds 2 vote. These are children who haven't experienced real life yet and are still in school forming their thoughts. They don't know what the effect certain votes will have as is now being seen with all this voter regret over Biden
I scrolled up and states will be receiving grants over this shit.
So we can't contest a person's eligibility now if their registration doesn't match.
And here they are saying people who ignore the law and are convicted for breaking the law should still be allowed to vote federally at the least. This is pretty much letting the crazies run the asylum here.
We are a republic people. Anything saying democracy should be a red flag. We might have democratic style state elections but we are a republic which gives small groups of people to unify together to oppose small areas of highly concentrated populations (cities).
