However most of this data pertains to younger HCWs. I still think for HCWs the UK calculated gamble to delay second jab is reasonable and one I am personally comfortable with having had only one. I haven’t seen any older population data... 3/n
... and this is probably simply because it is easier to collate data, samples and follow-up people in hospital systems. 4/n
On balance I am still supportive of the current approach but acknowledge it remains a calculated gamble. Important thing to remember is Pfizer jabs will be the minority in UK so this story needs better context.
