1. TATA Heavy Duty Advanced Combat Helmet.
Used by PARA SF in limited numbers, it provides better back protection then the ACH.

2. PASGT or Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops helmet :-
Also used in limited numbers by para, marcos and other elite units
It is made of Kevlar and is rated Level IIIA. Heavy PASTG is now being replaced with ACH

3. MKU Advanced Combat Helmet Mukut:
Most of you are familiar with this. The ACH is slowly replacing all the older helmets of IA.

4. Model 1974 helmet :
It is made from fiberglass and a nylon suspension liner.
Effective against 9mm at closing range and now Being replaced now by MKU ACH.

5. Legendary Patka Helmets :
Everybody knows what the patka helmet is, it can withstand against heavy rounds such a 7.62x39mm rounds. But offers poor protection on top and back, now being replaced

Used by elite force like MARCOS , Special Group and VBSS Operatives etc

These helmets are used for specialized operations. Para, SG, Ghatak and RR uses them

8. OR-201 Helmet :
The good old Israeli helmet was 1st used by PARA and now being replaced with ACH & other specialised helmets.
It is a Kevlar Helmet and is ideal for long duration operation ( very lightweight and provide decent protection)

9. SM Cara ACH + Patka ballistic applique used by CRPF QAT in CI/CT ops. It provides III protection.
10. SRG-Company Advanced Combat Helmet :
custom-made ACH with rails to mount various accessories like Night Vision Goggles etc

LWH ( Light Weight Helmet ) :Â Used by Central Armed Police Forces.
few other are Abhedya helmet, first bulletproof helmet of the world which can stop an AK-47 bullet developed by Major Anoop Mishra.
