Thread: The Black Panthers led by Chairman Fred Hampton formed a Rainbow Coalition which worked with several orgs including white supremacist groups. Shortly after, Hampton was assassinated by the FBI. The largest threat to the oligarchy & surveillance state are a United people.
People are slowly going beyond parties & even ideology, realizing they’re all getting screwed by the same system. Here Hampton echoes this mentioning how many white people had the same concerns they did, also emphasizing that being afraid of socialism is being afraid of yourself.
Racism is a byproduct of capitalism, which is the competition for resources against another rather than building that collective. It’s important to push conversations, to push understanding, to build empathy. The Classist intellectualism against many doesn’t help, it hinders.

And for the record I am not saying we should work with white supremacists, just saying it has happened before. I am also saying we should reach out to people we don’t agree with on 100% if they’re working class and focus on the oligarchy. Right now we are divided & it shows.
