First half
Goa outplayed us with their game. Their aim was to use the space from our press in order to advance to attacking position. This is where we understand the tactics of Kone . His tactic was to mark Ortiz who's involved in receiving the through ball.

We were able to block him 30% of the time. They used the space from Dene's press in order to play in wings, where Ortiz waits for the through ball to be received. The shot from Ortiz, supposed to be a goal, luckily hit the uprights and was caught by Albino.
While we are in possession, Goa utilizes a two-men press to make our life harder. Now we're using the same tactics on them, using the space from the strikers to pass to midfielders. Vicente is heavily marked by a Goa player and that prevents us to advance further.
Now regarding Hooper's chance in first half. He couldn't do it on his own because of numerical advantage, 2v1. GK screwed up and there was a defender who cleared it. If Rahul was there in the press, he could've pressed the defender to score the goal.
Pictorial representation of that chance: 1st Pic shows a 2v1 scenario, 2nd pic shows a 1v1 scenario after Hooper beating GK, 3rd pic shows where Rahul was after this goal scoring chance. There were moments were Hooper was telling his players to come forward while pressing.
The conceded set-piece goal, it was a deflection from Sahal. The angle of ball after Sahal's contact increased which led to increase in the height in which Albino couldn't read the trajectory. The ball went in the goal awkwardly. Not Albino's fault.
The Disallowed goal, a well taken corner by Facundo which reached Kone to score a goal. But it was disallowed as Kone touched the ball which was shown in replay cameras. A great decision from the referees.
2nd Half
As always we played better in the 2nd half, we were more attacking than usual and didn't give up. One weird thing was that whenever we get a foul, Facundo is always involved in the set-piece. Whether it is close to the corner or near the half-line.

This itself made me think that they've trained really well for set-pieces. After the corner taken by Facundo
to Kone which led to a shot off target, I knew that the next corner will be a goal for sure. And sure enough, it became true!

We used their weakness to our advantage. And lucky enough, Goa got a red for their best CB for touching the referee. We were looking, time and time, looking for chances to score from open play. Hooper got two chances, inside box but finishing was the lacking factor.
There was another chance where Sahal was in a decision box. He has 3 choices, pass to Hooper, pass to Rahul or dribble forward. He tried dribbling but failed. Facundo was creating key through balls but the players couldn't read it well.
Puitea, rather than shooting, he could've passed it to Hooper who is unmarked after a back-pass from Kone. Rahul's 1-1 chance, he was in the ball, Naveen advanced forward and fouled Rahul (that's supposed to be a foul, but was given an advantage).
Hooper receives the ball but couldn't shoot as there were two defenders covering the spot. His decision to pass was a good move but his pass was a bit too heavy for Rahul to receive it. So it reached Puitea, where he tried crossing the ball but went wayward.
This game was not the best, having a backup striker, especially an Indian striker would've made things better. If the pressure comes into you, you'll be bound to make mistakes. The team was pragmatic in their approach to score the goals.
