I won't get into specifics but I told @brat2381 and @MrWednesday11 this story throughly..I called the cops when I was in Jacksonville, Florida because I was in a situation that I thought could be ugly..Anyhow, I hadn't touch anybody or did anything wrong and when they got there
They told me to sit in the backseat of the car and I already knew I was going to jail..They hauled my ass to jail and didn't let me out for 2 days..I cried like a baby because I knew my military career was gone and I didn't do a damn thing wrong..In fact, the witnesses told them
That..So, why in the hell did I go to jail? The cop who arrested me told me the 2nd day I was locked up 'We had to take someone." WTF?
Well, the judge finally saw me and charged me 127.00 for staying 2 nights in jail and dismissed the case..My Senior Chief came to court and the first thing he told me 'I don't know why you are here but it has got to be because you are black. Don't worry. We will protect you."
I got out but I was still worried because I was in the military..The next day I had to be in front of the Chief's Mess in my Dress Blues and I was shaking like a leaf on tree in wind..
Needless to say, they knew everything already and didn't do anything to me but what if they did? I would have lost all I worked for over racism..I didn't pursue a lawsuit because that very cop got fired for abuse of someone else and to this day, he is no longer in LE
My story turned out well but if you are black and think this Justice System is equal, you are sadly mistaken..
