I often wonder—all the divisive nastiness over the past year—it’s happened when all of us are alone at home. What happens when everyone goes back to work, to conventions & events, finally having to deal with each other face to face after trashing each other on Twitter for a year?

I’m seriously concerned that necessary levels of civility & professionalism may no longer exist to conduct normal business in corporate offices or to even hold large events any more. It’s clear many people who once were friends, once worked together, deeply hate each other now.

I hope people can go back to normal. I hope people can forgive each other and get past all this baggage. But even I, sitting here quietly observing behavior, begin to feel unsafe. This back and forth on Twitter has gone much, much too far and I worry about the fruits of it.
