For artists who are stressed with using twitter dm’s / email for commissions and want an English version of skeb:

I’ve used pixiv requests (pixiv’s version of skeb) for about a month now and it’s been great for me. Here are my thoughts:
The biggest thing for me was the skeb-like communication restriction. You receive the initial request and that’s the end of the communication. Some clients will still try to contact you but they’re not supposed to. You don’t have to send WIPs, wait for responses, make edits, etc
You don’t have to stress about taking too long since there’s a set deadline and if something comes up that prevents you from being productive for two months, the client gets their money back if the deadline isn’t met.
You can decide to give the client a gift file (psd file with merged layers, etc) after you submit the finished art. You can also accept the requests publicly or privately.
On the 20th of each month you receive a payout of the earnings you made the previous month via PayPal. The money will be sent in JPY, which you can then convert to your currency in PayPal without a conversion fee. Pixiv will take a cut of the commission price.
Since it’s a pixiv feature, you have to advertise your commissions if you don’t have much of a pixiv following. At the end of the day, is it worth giving pixiv a cut of the commission fee for the service it provides? For me it is
I’ve had a ton of bad experiences working in twitter dms and email, and the set deadline, the communication restrictions and the middleman holding the money for both sides until the completion of the commission has reduced stress so much
