My views on wolves and Nuno;
The first two seasons back we over achieved massively coming 7th and then becoming quarter finalists in Europe.
We played a system which relied heavily on our full backs and number 9. The way both jonny and doherty knew there role worked perfectly.
Once you sell one of those and lose the other to a season ending injury, any team will struggle when that is your main way of playing.
Add to that the loss of Raul, the most important player in the squad then we’re literally missing the main basis of attack and style of play.
We can say all you want about small squads but if that happens to any team they’re struggling. Bringing in Semedo and expecting a 19 year old left back and an 18 year old striker to do those three jobs is never going to work.
We just need to accept this season as a work in progress, we won’t go anywhere. Try get as far as we can in the cup but not be annoyed we aren’t in the champions league spots or challenging for Europe.
Fans expect us to improve every season and on that basis if we don’t win the league by 2023 it’ll be a failure. If we’re in the same position this time next year I’ll accept we need change. But for now it’s not an issue or a massive problem.
If you want Nuno out I think you’re being very disrespectful to what he’s done and what he can do.
This guys took us from 15th in the championship to Europe quarter finalists and Fa cup semi finalists in 2/3 years but most fans want him gone during our first bad patch. Spoilt club.
Up the fucking wolves btw. Win lose, whatever league. We follow.
Deleting the thread if we go down.
