./ Thousands of kids feel uncomfortable with gender norms. Not all will turn out gay but a good number may be. Arguing all kids should have the chance to work things out for themselves and go through puberty before being medicalised isn't hateful. Its the essence of kindness.
./ It's not the fact the likes of @stonewalluk disagree that's so shocking. It's their failure even to engage. There wouldn't be the need for @ALLIANCELGB if the self-styled champions of LGBTQ+ didn't enforce a code of silence over this issue. To them it's unmentionable.
./ No reasonable person listening to Dr Bell could believe his concern comes from a place of hate. He spent a lifetime trying to help gender non conforming kids. You can't fake that sincerity. So it's up to you. Do you believe him or loudmouths like Nicolson, Paisley and Cohen?
./ If you're gay yourself or want to support gay rights I get it's tempting to believe, say, Pink News. But ask yourself why do they and their ilk refuse to grapple seriously with the issues Dr Bell raises? Why do they enforce an omerta? Why are they so scared?
./ Perhaps, if some kids are drawn to transition in a mistaken attempt to solve their problems with gender roles then maybe trans rights and LGB rights are not identical? Perhaps homophobia and sexism are unwittingly driving some of our society's obsession with trans rights?
./ Before the Holyrood meeting a bunch of LGBTQ+ groups pointed out @ALLIANCELGB was alone in opposing the obsession with gender identity. Duck. Water. Back. When idiots agree disagreeing is no shame. As Dr Bell has reminded us the truth remains the truth. However uncomfortable.
