$ABML - my favourite stock of 2021.

A thread on the future of American EV infrastructure and the necessity of recycling & the innovation of $ABML

For $TSLA $CCIV $PSAC $NGA gang this company could suprass them all in % growth this year. (1/X)
Why is Recycling important?

In 2019 America produced 1% of rare earth metal supply in the world – this is a national security risk as demonstrated by the trade war. But even if we could rely on the world to trade freely – it is an ecological disaster. $MP $VALE (2/X)
60% of Global Cobalt is mined in Congo and some of the most polluted sites in the world are rare earth mines. This is environmentally unsustainable.

Recycling of old batteries is an expedient solution that 'closes the loop' and makes the American EV supply chain independent
We extract the old battery, recover the valuable metals and use it to create a new one. Recyled materials are expected to become a signifcant proportion of the rare earth eco system as the number of old EV cars increases.
The US Dept of Energy has prioritised this development through investment in ReCell (Govt. funded R&D lab) and under Biden this will be an area of significant growth.

$ABML was awarded a $4.5M Grant in January 2021, verifying their R&D and securing medium term financing.
Recycling of lithium batteries is already being conducted by some Chinese smelters but their processes are inefficient and release toxic fumes. $ABML has a unique hydrometallurgical process that fixes both these problems.
According to $ABML their process is universal and works with all battery shapes and chemistries. The man behind the claim is Ryan Melsert, $ABML CTO & $TSLA R&D Genius.

Also on the $ABML board are Nomura Head of America Banking William Hunter & CEO/Angel investor Douglas Cole.
$ABML is a vertically integrated lithium supply chain company – they explore, extract & recycle making them a complete one-stop shop for EV manufacturers from vehicle assembly to disposal.
They hold rights to mining claims in Nevada & will be constructing their first pilot factory in 2021 – 12 mins from the $TSLA Giga-factory. Coincidence? Remember Melsert, R&D Genius of Tesla?
He has 17 filed patents, mostly on closed-loop recycling – the industry $ABML seeks to capture. In this industry, he is THE DREAM CTO you could want leading this enterprise.

Check his patents for yourself:

$ABML is a VC investment. They are pre-revenue, with a promising product and an exciting team that can100x this company. Their business model is entirely unique and they are a first mover in the industry.

They already have seed investment from $BASF & the US Government
Their current plan is to complete their pilot factory to demonstrate proof of commercialization. This is expected to be completed in 2021 as land and builders have already been contracted.

2021 could be a blow out year, but lets be prudent & appreicate the risks involved here.
I encourage everybody to read the prospectus but TLDR:

1. Their tech has not yet been patented, mgmt. are in process.
2. There are likely to dilute on the way to complete their pilot factory for additional funding
3. Tech has only proven on a small scale and could fail on-masse
I think of $ABML as a VC play that could sky-rocket. It has just surpassed $1 Billion Market Cap after its recent epic run from $1.30 to $3.30 and will be subject to increased interest. I also expect it to graduate into the NASDAQ this year and get various additional govt grants.
This is a high risk / high reward play. If the pilot is successful those of you who invest now will likely never have to work another day in your life. It could also falter and be worth nothing. The choice is yours, I have made mine.

THREAD FINISH.
