I'm curious about something: is it customary for an incoming president to have a 21-gun salute?
What about an out going president?

I know Trump got the 21-guns at his "farewell," but did Biden??

Let me explain what I'm thinking...

I watched a live stream of Trump's farewell; I heard the 21 gun salute.

I didn't watch the inauguration, but my mom &my son did.

They both said they expected the Battery would do the salute while Biden was at Arlington,
and both said it never happened.

Then I saw this.

"WHY wasn't Biden rendered a 21-gun salute as customary for an incoming president? You know, like Trump received the same day, January 20th?"

So I did a little digging...

I started with what I knew first-hand-ish(via live stream): Trump definitely received a 21-gun salute.

I wanted to know if that is customarily done for outgoing presidents.

Im including screenshots of my search results because the clear bias adds an extra bit of humor, imo.

The ONLY thing I could find (granted, w very little time) is this from NBC San Diego.
The video clip is a generic blurb about the Battery salute; not a Biden in sight. 😕
