Terrible business 😂
Atalanta signed Muratore for €7m, a player who is not a regular starter in the Serie B. Anyone who has been following this deals would understand why Juventus signed Romero in 2019 for €26m in a deal that include Sturaro, who was signed for €18m https://twitter.com/emaxstatman/status/1353050673475170304
Sturaro wasn’t playing from over a year & Juve sold him for €18m. Juventus overpaid for Romero as well as what Atalanta did for Muratore. Juventus also got Kulusevski from Atalanta for €35m + bonuses. The best young player in the Serie A
Juventus wouldn’t lose a euro on selling Romero because they’d cover his salary for 4 years + several bonuses included in the deal. Also The best choice for the future of Romero was made & if he does well, there would be not a problem if they want to sign him back
People forgot that Inter signed Bastoni for €31m in a deal that included several players. Atalanta on the other side signed Eguelfi for €6m, a player who failed to play regularly with Cesena, Feralpisalo, Verona, Livorno & Frosinone. They also signed Betella & Carraro for €12m
I’m not defending Paratici but the deal is great for all the sides & it’s part of several deals. Many should understand the process of the plusvalenza deal & don’t focus just on numbers
