2/N Non Fungible Tokens ( #NFTs) remind you of @CryptoKitties but did you know that a project called http://Etheria.World  introduced the concept of art on #Ethereum back in 2015?

3/N Sidechains are hot yet the concept isn't new.

The first "sidechain" dates back to 2011: @Namecoin complemented #bitcoin by inventing a parallel chain.

You could add metadata to Namecoin w/o bloating up bitcoin, retaining a secure anchor to the main chain (merged mining)

4/N Asset tokenisation is nothing new either.

Things like ERC20 tokens, @WrappedBTC or @pNetworkDeFi's pLTC could have existed in 2012 already, thanks to a protocol called "Colored Coins", but a market for them wasn't there yet

5/N What do the above have in common?
