Lucifer subconsciously still thinks that someone loving you means you're useful to them. That you serve a need. He believes he needs his mojo to be useful to Chloe. He loses his mojo after dealing with Jed - when he's so scared of doing something "wrong" & losing Chloe
The last person he uses it on is Jed. Then he has the "I can't mess this up" convo with Dan and Amenadiel.
"I should've just listened to myself, and to you."
Throughout time, he never actually asks for what he wants. Even here, he's prepared to let her leave...

Then there's the talk with Pete "do you ever feel like you're not good enough?"

needs to be physically vulnerable because he's emotionally open.
What's interesting to me is Lucifer doesn't try to use his mojo with anyone while Chloe isn't around until he does so by accident.

Doesn't react to his mojo. In the AU episode - he never even tries to mojo her, yet they still strike up a partnership.
It makes me wonder just how little her seeing him for who he is has to do with any miracle status, and how much it has to do with Lucifer *wanting* to be seen.
