Anxiety

A 🧵
Anxiety is a normal emotion. However, when a person regularly feels disproportionate levels of anxiety, it might become a medical disorder. Anxiety disorders form a category of mental health diagnoses that lead to excessive nervousness, fear, apprehension, and worry
1. Focalise on the problem, this is to know what is the cause of your anxiety and stress

2. Do something you enjoy, such as working out, a hobby that takes your mind off or makes you feel at ease or peace
3. Talk to someone to vent your problems to or someone you are close to, often you are close to them for a reason

4. Notice the issue, and act upon it - either vent, ignore and disclose, or displace (punch a pillow, use a stress ball, etc)
5. Do breathing exercises, they are often known to help

6. Question your thought pattern - Negative thoughts can take root in your mind and distort the severity of the situation. One way is to challenge your fears, ask if they’re true, and see where you can take back control.
7.Go for a walk or do 15 minutes of yoga - Sometimes, the best way to stop anxious thoughts is to walk away from the situation.

Also, try to seek therapy it is very important or speaking to someone can also be therapy and it can take the pressure off your chest
Islamic Perspective:

Recite or listen to surah Taha, it is known for its calming and affects on a person try to listen to the meaning too it makes someone understand what is trying to be said
Even the Prophet went through difficult times. For examples when his son Ibrahim passed away to the next life. The prophet felt sadness, expressed his emotions through tears and grief.
Then he wept more and said, “The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and we will not say except what pleases our Lord, O Ibrahim! Indeed we are grieved by your separation.” Bukhari; Book 23, hadith 1228

Allah gives us reward through affliction
Often the cause of anxiety is being far away from Allah and you feel that drift from your deen

That is true in some cases but however it's not proven, a lot of things can trigger anxiety. On people such as a death in the family.
However, I've tended to see from personal experience most of the time it's the work of the Shaytaan in some cases it might not be it.
