Do you guys like to rock? 1 like = 1 neglected 60s/70s heavy psych, proto-metal, or hard rock gem.
1. Zior- Entrance of the Devil (1971):
2. Punch- Deathhead (1970):
3. Grand Funk Railroad- Inside Looking Out (1969):
4. Stone Axe- Slave of Fear (1971):

6. The Misunderstood- Children of the Sun (1966)
7. The Open Mind- Magic Potion (1969)
8. Bulbous Creation- Satan (1971)
Bit of confusion on the release date there, as is sometimes the case with these. 'You Won't Remember Dying" is one of my favorite album titles.
9. Iron Claw- Clawstrophobia (70-74?)
10. Macabre- Be Forewarned (1972)
11. Pentagram- Walk in the Blue Light (72-76). Same band as Macabre. Unique riffs & drums on this one.
12. Parish Hall- My Eyes Are Getting Heavy (1970)
13. Orang-Utan- Chocolate Piano (1971)
14. T2- No More White Horses (1970)
15. German Oak- The Third Reich (1972)
16. Blue Cheer- Sun Cycle (1968)
17. Suck- The Whip (1970)
18. The Master's Apprentices- Death of a King (1971)
19. Amon DĂĽĂĽl II- Eye Shaking King (1970): honestly one of the heaviest doomiest songs ever.
Listen to this great live version too:
Morgen- Love (1969)
21. Leaf Hound- Freelance Fiend (1971): cowbell intro!
22. Pink Floyd- The Nile Song (1969)
23. Aguaturbia- E.V.O.L. (1970)
24. Glass Sun- In the Silence of the Morning (1968)
25. The Mystic Tide- Frustration (1967)
26. Group 1850- Don't Let It Be (1970)
Novak's Kapelle- Hypodermic Needle (1968)
28. Tomorrow's Gift- Prayin' to Satan (1970): Witchy female vocals!
29. Osage Tribe- Arrowhead (1971): Don't let the name fool you, this band is Italian.
30. Liquid Smoke- Lookin for Tomorrow (1970)
31. Lucifer's Friend- Ride the Sky (1971): Gotta go with this live appearance. Metal French Horn!
32. Jericho- Kill Me With Your Love (1972)
33. Jerusalem- Primitive Man (1972): Dunno if the contemporary metal band Primitive Man got their name from this, but it sounds likely.
34. David Bowie- The Supermen: Hardly an obscure artist ofc, just showing how heavy his early work could be. The special spice here is timpani.
35. Gun- Race With the Devil (1968)
