As we all know FSG is a pretty cheap board who would call off a transfer over 1 penny and that is completely wrong when you are a board of a european giant. 3 transfers only in the past 2 seasons is a woeful stat. New transfers are desperately needed.

2. Tactical mistakes
Dont get me wrong Klopp is world class but some of the blame in our current form falls onto Klopp. Playing Thiago deep as a 6 is holding his abilities and not unleashing him as a natural 8. We are lacking creativity and playing our only playmaker as a DM.

3. Firmino’s linkup with the salah, mane
Firmino has massively declined since last season. 14 goals and 11 assist in 57 appearances is pretty shit for a deep lying striker. His linkup play and creativity is long gone as well. I honestly don’t know where is he to be placed now.

4. Van dijk’s absence
Van dijk wasn’t only our best CB but also our unspoken playmaker. His ball carrying capabilities along with his long passing and leadership are massively noticed in the squad. No highline anymore causing more counterattacks against us.

5. Trent’s decline
Due to Van dijk’s absence, defence is being forced to drop deeper and play more defensively instead of carrying the ball forward and pressing the opposition. That lead to TAA being more exposed defensively causing more goals from trent’s flank.

6. Fabinho’s absence in midfield
I made a thread 2 months ago on why Fab shouldn’t be played as a CB and I was right. Hie ability to win the ball back and carry it forward to the final third was very underrated and taken for granted. We’ve dealt well with it but its exposed now.

7. Formation and Lineup
Related to thread (1) our lineups are being more and more expected now. The same lineup with the same formation is causing all the other teams to get used to it and using our weak points. Tactics need to be changed immediately.

8. Reliability on Henderson
Henderson has been absolutely world class this season but whenever he doesn’t play we always lose and that was most significant against villa (7-2). We don’t have any leader on the pitch when Hendo and VVD are out and that makes the team go distressed
