Building a culture of life means supporting people making difficult and painful decisions with prayer and material resources. One concrete way to help women and families facing unplanned or crisis pregnancies is to donate to your local crisis pregnancy center.
They are always in need of staples like diapers of all sizes and wipes, which get very expensive very fast. Most will have a list on their website (or call them) of needed items, or even an Amazon wish list.
These are the two we support, but I would encourage you to look up one near you, find out what they need, and make it a part of your usual shopping to include stuff for them, just as you would include extra groceries for regular food bank donations. Every bit helps!!
Eradicating abortion will not happen overnight, but everyday acts of love and generosity will help women and families believe there is another, better way forward.
Marih Center in Alexandria (they have an Amazon wish list posted as well) https://marih.org/donate/
One more thing: it's a common (lazy) trope that pro-lifers only care about babies until they're born. Crisis pregnancy centers are a beautiful example of how a true culture of life materially supports women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, AND YEARS AFTER.
(One of the reasons pregnancy centers will accept larger-size diapers and clothing up to 3 or 4T is because there are older children who need this stuff, too. We're there to help these moms and their kids, full stop.)
