Great things about living in Qatar

Before leaving this amazing country I wanted to share with you some great facts about it

1) Growth:

The city of Doha was built 40 years ago

After becoming independent from the Brittish

2) Stable Economy:

Being a leader exporter of liquefied natural gas and having pretroleum reserves,

Qatar has acheived one of the highest income per capita numbers worldwide

It is also maintaing a "no-taxes" policy
3) Security:

Qatar is a very safe country, you can walk at night without a worry,

or leave your phone at a restaurant, they will call you to give it back

Theft is very rare, and has high penalties

Deportation is common for any expatriate not following the country rules
4) Sports:

Qatar promotes physical activities and events

It has many parks, sports courts and has the sports national day, an official day off to do excercise

Qatar will host:

Fifa World Cup 2022
Asian games 2030
Among others

Qatar implemented the first stadiums with A/C
5) The Pearl:

Paying tribute of ony of the main activities for the acient Qataris (Pearl Diving)

the man made island of the Pearl was built.

Over there you find apartments, villas and many restaurants
6) Opportunities for expatriates:

85% from the workforce comes from abroad

50% of the population changes every 6 months

Companies provide accommodation and food on top or the salary per law

As the country keeps growing the opportunities are endless
The Qataris started working with poor conditions

Getting just neccesary food and water, no payment

Their conditions slowly got better

They never stopped, because they knew they were building a nation

Great things take time, don't stop and keep going!
