1/3. On 21 June 1940, two stalwarts 'Subhash Chandra Bose' and 'Veer Savarkar' shared the stage in Dadar, Mumbai to explore the possibilities of cooperation between Forward Bloc and Hindu Mahasabha.Netaji was an admirer of 'Savarkar' compositions.
2/3.Savarkar was in contact with the revolutionary Ras Bihari Bose in Japan. He advocated that Sl Bose, like Rasbihari, should try to get out of country and try to reach Germany/ Japan set up an armed force there. On advice of Savarkar, Rasbihari Bose corresponded with Subhash.
3/3.This meeting changed life of Bose, during his speech on Azad Hind Radio on 25June1944,Netaji praised Savarkar's efforts to increase military recruitment of Indian youth. He had many times expressed gratitude to Savarkar in radio broadcast of Azad Hind Fauj from Singapore ..
