I see many who enter crypto for the 1st time in this bullrun. Here are some rules of thumb I follow since the 2017 run:

- Never put in money you don't wanna lose
- Better to not read anything over refreshing Reddit & Twitter every 5 minutes
- Maintain your original strategy
- Assume everyone everywhere is a shill
- Better to be quiet about your $69 in crypto than to be loud about your $69K
- Uninstall your portfolio app & just check it once a week or so
- Take out some profit ecery now & then

When in a gold rush, avoid buying all the shovels.
For many it would be wise to remove the principal or part of it & play with what's left.

It can be many things, but the main one is FOMO & shilling whatever alts one has

Bull runs start when many people jump in due to fear of missing out, so there's always positive messages which can end up messing with you

Solid advice. To add: if you're gonna hold, hold. If you're gonna trade, trade.

Seeking obscure exchanges with close to zero protection or unclear rules to buy some no-name shitcoin is not what you should be doing if you're holding. https://mobile.twitter.com/cfowlerdesign/status/1352911194420600833
