Jungkook spoke about why it’s important for him to participate in song writing. How he wants to make his emotions into a story and hear it in sound.
Jungkook saw the importance in learning to play instruments to be able to compose better. So he taught himself to play instruments, and learned how to make beats, and use various professional software for music production.

In the recent Weverse Interview, Jungkook expressed how working on anything music related, and filmmaking related is work he enjoys. And the work that aren't of that kind (basically work where it isn't about creating art), he finds difficult.

Jungkook spoke his dreams is to have his own team to create music, film and art
Jungkook expressed how he thinks about whether he could receive that kind of recognition (that BTS received) for himself. And that this gives him the feeling of wanting to approach a challenge by himself. That there’s a lot he wants to do and achieve.
Jungkook said he wants to be someone that’s crazy awesome in their field.
And he also talked about one day getting to the point where he can perform solo for 3-4 hours in a venue of people. So basically a solo concert.
