For this same reason, the physicians think role of the pharmacist is overhyped thus leaving dispensing of medications in their private clinic to one trainer who will just write take this drug "2x2" without effectively communicating it to the patient & the patient end up taking..

It's this same pharmacist just sit down & give drugs & collect big money mentality that will make the LAB Scientist or Technicians after conducting Lab investigations will still prescribe drugs for the patient because the drug sensitivity is showing..

Me trying to tell Oga that I need to review this prescription that I'm not satisfied with the use of Adam's desire for a sperm count of 2x10^6cells/mL & other stuffs, Oga said the doctor in the lab said that is good for him. Oga's mind is made up bcos the lab man said so...
The other person has already been given one of these multi-level marketing drugs costing him some amount of money & a sanitary pad for his wife saying is not just ordinary pad... and he was sent to the pharmacy to get the injections.

The last lady, came with a result for E.coli & moderate growth of S.aureus..
They have prescribed & given aunty Inj Streptomycin & Rifampicin for that...and one stem cell supplements.
Aunty came back complaining of discharge weeks later...

There would have been something to prevent antibiotics overload that can result in fungal overgrowth.

The long & short of it is, every health care provider is seeing the Pharmacy profession...

therapeutic & lethal effects before making a decision for the safety of our patients.
Let's all do well to respect our boundaries as health workers and not encroach into the field of others at the detriment of the patient.
