You probably noticed when I just mass-RT'd a huge thread a second ago, I recommend reading it.
Touches on a lot of really important stuff, like how heteronormative culture engages in historical revisionism, the fact that the Nazi book burnings were specifically action taken against queer and especially trans research, and the lasting impacts of the AIDS crisis
The bit about the book burnings was one of the few things I already new in that thread. Sure is interesting how you learn about Nazis burning books in school, but they don't tell you what books were burned.

Almost like modern society also wants than information suppressed.
But anyway it's a really good thread that moved me to tears and I recommend everyone read it.
