Never take anyone seriously who says to you "f#ck 9-5, build a business".

Whoever says this;

they are not industrious, they lack work ethic and have been pathetic all their lives under the rooftop of their parents.

Few exceptions. But that's largely my observation.

rant
In all likeliness, a guy who hates 9-5 loves to party & get drunk. He's sold on the 'entrepreneurial' dream of having a jet, Bentley & several girls surrounding him, doing whatever the f#ck he wants.

Reality; He is soft, does baby hours, and lacks cunning to take what he earns.
9-5 can serve you really well. Those who are exceptional within their domain and are cunning enough to capitalize on opportunities to move up the hierarchy know how true this is.

But not many are industrious enough to do what it takes.
The probably of starting a business from scratch has a success rate of 10% in the first year. And 97% of start ups fail in year 5.

This is assuming you are creative enough to come up with novel ideas that can solve complex problems AND be able to implement it.
Your chances of improving your lifestyle is infinitely better if you put some time & effort into perfecting your worth ethic & aim to move up in the 9-5 world.

Startups deprive you from income & put you in hell. This is assuming you want society to benefit from your startup.
It used to be the case where hard working men who did nothing but provide benefit for society became owners and successful entrepreneurs.

Technology has changed the game. Now you can do outright stupid harmful things for clout and leverage the money made into a business.
If you don't care about harming society then I am entirely wrong, and your chances of succeeding in a startup are much higher.

Just create a onlyfans cartel, or put strippers on a boat for engagement, or sell your own protein brand while you inject steroids behind the curtains.
We used to live in a time where we damaged ourselves through hard work for society to benefit.

Now we live in a time where damaging the masses for individual benefit is your new "f#ck 9-5, build a business".

A business model at the expense of the consumers.

Outstanding.
I am not against startups. I have my own I am working on.

But those who glamourize it do it to sell you a pipe dream.

And they do so by making you hate your 9-5.

This is the absolute truth.
I think that's it
