Here are what turned out to be Gary Thorne’s final words on MASN, at the end of a dreadful 2019 Orioles season:

My personal all-time favorite Gary Thorne call:

The 8th inning of Cal Statue Night. All 3 HR calls from Gary were great, but I’ll never forget what he said after the Mark Reynolds dinger:

And then there’s Gary Thorne, as always, keeping things light, and having way too much fun with Trevor Plouffe’s name
