In November 2020, millions of farmers took to the streets of New Delhi, India to fight against newly introduced laws that allow corporations to take advantage of small farmers by demanding more products & paying less for them. There is no minimum daily wage guaranteed for farmers

Farmers in India already have it pretty bad- due to climate change, their land is not yielding as many products as it used to. As a result, tens of thousands of farmers have committed suicide because of extreme debt. These new laws will only make this more common.

Please bring awareness to this issue! It will affect you, too. Exports from India (such as tumeric, cinnamon and other spices, rice, cotton for clothes, ginger) will become extremely expensive and inaccessible to many communities if the laws go forward.
