i worked at a haunted escape room once and to enter/exit the game room players had to take an elevator and one group was so scared that at the end of their game when my friend (who was also an actor) went to tell them they were done they accidentally trampled him in the elevator
we also had a security guard in the room just for safety reasons and the players had "guns" that were like stage guns and one group was so scared when they saw our security guard they "shot" him and wasted all their bullets dkWJKJD
i was an actor too and i had to give the players a clue so they can unlock the next room but the second one group saw me they were so scared they just ran right past me and went "FUCK HER LETS GET OUT OF HERE" and i had to improv for 10 mins to get them to come back
but all the actors were so fun we had professional actors come in as zombies and i was a student actor playing one of the main characters and they were so chill like when the players were gone and we waited for the next game the zombies just sat around playing on their phones lol
oh yeah and the break room was right behind a curtain we put by the elevator and once this group didnt see the elevator and ran through the curtain into the break room and i was off duty and we just stared at each other while i was trying to have my dinner
KDJWKBJJWB ONCE ONE OF THE GROUPS WAS A GROUP OF MY TEACHERS AND WHEN MY MATH TEACHER RECOGNIZED ME SHE WENT ":OO ITS AIKO MY SWEET BABY!" AND I HAD TO RESIST THE URGE TO GREET HER CUS SHES ONE OF MY FAV TEACHERS

i had a syringe prop that i needed to squirt blood out of and i kept it in my pocket and in one game there was a hole in the syringe so the blood leaked all over my costume but i didnt know it was just a hole and i thought the needle went into my leg

also i got paired up to act in the same shift as the guy i liked and thanks to that hes now my boyfriend
one group didnt trust that i was on their side and they kept going “NAH NAH NAH SAY DEADASS SAY DEADASS”
one of the players safety things was glowsticks that would “scare zombies away” and one group got to me me and thought i was a zombie so when i showed up they screamed and threw all their glowsticks at me and ran (they were all boys too it was so funny)

OMG WAIT we had one group of 15 year olds where one of them brought his girlfriend and when they got jumpscared she and one of his friends hugged each other aND THE BF GOT MAD AND THREW A PUNCH AND OUR ZOMBIE ACTORS HAD TO BREAK THEM UP CUS THEY STARTED FULL ON FIGHTING

i also had a glowstick by me just so they could see me cus it was dark that wasnt actually a “lifesaver glowstick” but in one game this one dude ran back to me while i was literally retching blood and turning into a zombie, grabbed my glowstick, and yelled “THANK YOU”

my entrance in the game involved me being trapped behind the door to the next room screaming for help bc i was trapped w zombies and my task was to tell players to find a key to the locked door in a locker before i get dragged away and bitten +
but one group was so scared when i suddenly showed up screaming in the window of the door that they screamed during my entire monologue telling them the clue and they didnt know what to do SKDNDNXNDND SO A ZOMBIE HAD TO TELL THEM CUS I WAS “DEAD” 
It was actually my bf (then-crush) who was the zombie that bites me so he had to do was tackle me to the floor so we were out of sight of the door then the players would turn around to find the key but in one game the PLAYERS STAYED THERE . SO HE HAD TO LIE THERE . HUGGING ME .
except he forgot that he was alSO A ZOMBIE . SO IT MADE SENSE FOR HIM TO JUST GET UP AGAIN AND GO TO HIS NEXT SPOT . BUT HE JUST LAY THERE HUGGING ME UNTIL I WENT “vincent... youre a zombie you can go now” AND HE WENT “OH shit youre right” and went 
his role after tackling me was to play a doctor that got locked in a cage and the second clue i gave the players was the code to the lock on the cage to free him but one group forgot my code so this one player in the group just grabbed the door and RIPPED IT FROM ITS HINGES
the locker they needed to lock for the key in was labelled “anderson” and that was the clue i gave: one group mustve misheard me cus i could hear desperate locker opening and closing and some guy yelling “WHERE THE FUCK IS ANDREWS LOCKER”
