Naturally, Q watchers talk a LOT about the rhetoric on Q Instagram.

But the truth is, most of the gatekeepers there are doing a good job tamping down on violent incitement compared to Twitter.

Check this guy out.
I'm not gonna dwell on the contradiction between "they're going to throw you into camps" and "the government is weak and should be hunted." This is standard fascist rhetoric; we know that.

But many followers would you guess he has?

You guessed wrong, didn't you?
But wait, there's more. He claims that, until recently, he was a Q follower -- only for a short time -- and, alongside calls to violence and strenuous anti-mask rhetoric (not pictured here but yes, there's a LOT of it) and calls to violence are... appeals to disaffected Q folk.
Let's zoom and enhance on the posts where he targets disenchanted Q followers (image 1).

Look how he follows it up (image 2): by amplifying and soothing someone who responded.

I've had some good conversations with @dragnet_news about the persuasive value of likes & RT's:
we really do get a little jolt of pleasure, don't we, when someone has Taken Us Seriously (tm) and likes the cut of our jib.

We feel just a little bit friendlier. Just a bit more receptive to their line of argument.

Especially if they happen to share our values.
Which Kyle, here, RUSHES to demonstrate with some truly vile anti-vaxx content.

So summing up all this activity, what do we have here?

Kyle's message is: 1) I believed what you believed;
2) I know better now, just like you do;
3) Violence is the only way.
Kyle is, I submit, trying to sway disaffected Q followers to a violent, insurrectionary worldview.

So when researchers say this stuff is happening: yes, this stuff is happening. This is what it looks like. The friendly arm around the shoulders, the sympathy, the rallying cry.
All of it is meant to lead people down a path even uglier than Q.

If you see shit like this, A) report it, but B) *make a fuss*. Put up the Bat signal for more reporting. And crawl through the bad guy's follows and followers; see if you can find a network of the little creeps.
UPDATE: I hate everything. The first post oughta say Q Telegram.
