Went home to my moms this weekend in rural hockey country (Wayne Gretzky’s home town) and a man at the grocery store stopped and asked what my NWSL hoodie was. Told me he had a daughter who loves soccer but doesn’t want to watch boys play and asked if I knew where to watch.
Convo ended with me showing him the FA player app and him writing down that Sinclair plays for Portland Thorns in his notes app on his phone. You absolutely love to see it 👊🏻
This is also the first moment of proper human interaction with someone I didn’t know I’ve had since March and man I miss humanity.
