i just don't understand how you can learn about our history with race, gender, LGBTQ rights, and think yeah, i want to be on the side of the conservatives today.
if you are the party that white supremacists flock to, don't you have to question the values that you hold dear?

when a disproportionate number of leaders are old white men in both political and military positions, this is just going to keep happening over and over again
