The B747-8 is equipped with 4 GEnx-2B67 engines with a rated thrust of 65,000 lbs./each. In a joint collaboration, between, @GEAviation, @Boeing, and @NASA engineers set out to make a quieter and more fuel efficient engine than the CF6.
Each engine weighs 12,397 lbs. The fan diameter is 104.7 inches ~(8 feet 9 inches).
There are 18 carbon fiber fan blades surrounded by a composite fan case saving on weight and corrosion. It has a 13 stage (3 LP/10HP) compressor and an 8 stage (2HP/6LP) section.
On the B747-8, both the nacelle and inner core engine nozzle utilize a chevron design. Not only is it cool looking, its purpose is to reduce noise.
Hot air from the engine core mixes with the cooler air blowing through the fan. The shaped edges serve to smooth the mixing which reduces turbulence that creates noise.

@GEAviation care to add anything.
