Idk who they think foundated geek culture, grew it, supplies content for it, convention, etc. Adult geeks with adult money. Being an adult doesn't mean you go "ah shit, it's my 23rd birthday guess I'm done with fun lol" it means you can now enjoy the things more!!!

Most teens can't afford shit like £600 lego X-Wings and I'm sure most toddlers can't put them together lol. Adults working adult jobs are adult decisions to get adult hobbies.

I wanna add just in case that I don't hate teens or think they shouldn't be in fantom spaces! They absolutely should, I encourage it. They can also be uncomfortable around adults, thats valid! But when you start bullying and being ageist, I'm drawing the line.

Also if you feel insecure about your hobbies, I hope practice self love and heal yourself, know there is nothing to be insecure about as you are not hurting anyone. Just having fun.
