1. Bar Exam Question:

The @SenateGOP @HouseGOP have said they are illegally carrying firearms in DC. Officer Olivia needs to question @laurenboebert regarding a report she is illegally carrying a firearm. Officer Olivia stops Boebert on the street and pats her down before
2. questioning her and discovers she is carrying an unpermitted loaded pistol. Boebert's attorney is seeking to exclude the evidence obtained during the search and subsequently found in her apartment and office after a warrant issued based on the seizure. What result and why?
3. Issue for me is whether the reports that they were armed can be used to create the "articulable suspicion" to authorize a "Terry Stop" pat-down. I don't know if the suspicion can be based on facts that are not plainly evident at the time of the stop. I'd have to research it.
4. Could a Magistrate Judge authorize a warrant to stop and search the @HouseGOP who have been observed acting suspiciously in light of evidence reported they are illegally armed? Could he/she make the finding that more likely than not they are always committing crimes?
