Hello – huge thanks to Abortion Rights Campaign for letting us do this twitter take over. We are @CDLPJustice.
We are a team from @nuigcdlp funded by the Wellcome Trust - and we are going to tell you a bit about our project and answer any questions you have@CDLPJustice
We had planned to be able to tour the country in order to reach out to people – but the project has been online for almost a year. We are so grateful to the team at ARC for their activism, and for giving us this space. @CDLPJustice
We want to hear from disabled people about their experiences of reproductive justice. Capturing disabled people’s stories is incredibly important as they are so often missing from the conversation. @CDLPJustice
The project can be divided into three main parts or work packages – Policy, Oral Histories and Toolkits @CDLPJustice
We are collecting oral histories in order to be archived and to inform our work @CDLPJustice
We are engaging with medical, legal and social care practitioners in order to get a complete picture of the law and policy in practice @CDLPJustice
We are also developing toolkits in order to help people working in this area to better serve disabled people @CDLPJustice
