Imagine waiting 17.4 years to start hormones! And then ???? years after that to have surgeries you might want. Trans women in UK order hormones on internet. Wonder why referral patterns are observed shifting to assigned female at birth new patients? can't get testosterone online.

Patients who can afford to also pay out of pocket for @GenderGP, who are bravely serving this community in the face of serious efforts to have their practice ended. UK is convenient for centralized NHS data, but this is NOT just a UK problem. GenderGP is $500 or more for 1st year

In the US there are plenty of patients with NO providers through the usual private and safety net health systems to prescribe hormones. Thus we have 2 venture capitol funded, for profit concierge hormone practices, + a few more smaller shops. How much do they cost?

Plume = $1200 minimum per year. Folx = $1440 minimum 1st year on estrogen ($720/year after), $1680 minimum 1st year on testosterone ($1080/ year after).
