Henry Aaron @baseball_ref page appreciation thread incoming. Will stop whenever I run out of things to marvel at. So this may take awhile...
Here's his main stats all at once. Bold means led the league. Italics led all of MLB. Gold is all time leader.
Star means he was an all-star. Literally every season except his first and last.
This is games played. Basically he never got hurt or missed any significant amount of time for any reason. Freakish.
His much vaunted Home Run totals. Which ultimately resulted in breaking the record. Not by putting up a few gaudy peak years but relentless consistency. He never once hit more than 50!
