I just wanted to have a say on a few things going on here. First of all Xenophobia. I have a lot of friend on here from India and other countries outside the UK. It came to my notice that at least one of my Indian friends was told to stick to cricket when talking about Chelsea.
This is unacceptable, I interact with people from all over the world and I have to say the sacrifices these people make just to watch Chelsea at crazy hours of the day and night is beyond reproach and they should be shown respect.
The next point is sexism, I have heard from friends that women are told "What do you know about football? You're only a woman." Let me just answer that stupid question for them. "Probably more than you."
Racism is also abundant and I find that disgusting. We are all equal and nobody should feel that anyone is lower than them because of race, colour or creed. We are all part of the human race and should treat each other as such.
The next thing I would like to bring up is respect. Everyone has their own opinion on every subject and if you have something to say then say it but back it up with some context. For instance Lampard in or out people.
Try discussing your feelings on this matter instead of trying to force it on people. Just under a week ago I had a great discussion with a young man and although we disagreed it was respectful and we agreed to disagree whilst seeing each others point of view.
So to sum it up Let's respect people from all nations, people of all genders, people of all races, colours and creeds. You would be surprised how much more interesting this place can be with discussion rather than just saying something without context. Let's just all get on.
