Envy is normal. No seriously, it absolutely is. The problem is that too many people use envy and fear as a reason to rip apart others.
That will not make more room in the space, it just means that you took someone down.

Capitalism convinced us that there's no room for all of us. We make ourselves small to fit, and then we refuse to bring others up, thinking that that means we'll be the next pushed down.
Minorities, honestly do this a lot. We don't have confidence in the system, after all.

It's still not an excuse. Look, I'm not a man who gets a lot of opportunity, so in a sense I get it. I still also spend time boosting people up here and meaning it.
I use my envy to try and overload the system. To show that we deserve more than one spot in one niche.

I vent here a lot, I have emotions here a lot, this account has "feels" in the name. But I try not to tear down. That's just what responsibility is, and what fighting for more space for all of us looks like.
