You should always have at least six months worth of expenses saved up
You never know what life can throw at you, that's why an emergency fund is absolutely essential
Save some cash and put it somewhere easily accessible

Pay off all your bad debt! What's bad debt?

Stuff like car loans and credit debt. These debts just take money out of your pocket
