Franken was credibly accused of sexual harassment by up to 9 different women, and was called upon to explain himself or resign by co-workers who knew him well and found the accusations credible.

He chose to resign rather than satisfactorily address the accusations. https://twitter.com/gardengirl125/status/1352295574452592643
"Democrats need to become Republicans to beat the Republicans" is an appealing but silly argument that doesn't work. Democrat voters don't *want* to vote for people who are identical to Republicans.
Franken's resignation was a *good* thing. His replacement is doing a good job, he's not a political millstone around our neck, AND that space is now slightly safer for women.

AND we need to remove the insurrectionists.
"Republicans didn't remove THEIR toxic members so we shouldn't remove ours" isn't a good solution.

"Republicans don't have the integrity we do, so we have to remove the filibuster and get things done without them" = better, imo.
