Also some fans are always mad at companies and blaming them for lack of promotiong but they don't understand companies have limited opportunities according to what connections they have, if they're blocked by certain companies, if the pd of shows like them or not etc.

I used to blame companies all the time until someone who works for K-pop companies explained me this. For example, fans always want their groups on shows like KB or such but they can't go and say "i want my group in this". The PDs are the ones who decides who attends or not...

Variety/Survival shows pay dust and is a waste of time but smaller groups go just to be able to build connections with staff and show PDs bc it's based on that, who PDs know, who they like etc. That's why there's always the same people on those shows lol
